The strength within.

The girl effect

We value and treasure,

We cherish and love,

We nurture and support,

Unconditionally, all life,

This is the girl effect.

For ,femininity is regal,

And all life is sacred.

For, knowledge is strength,

And all opportunities must be equal.

This is the girl effect.

Its begins ,from within.

Accept your strength  ,do not be shy.

Smile with compassion , for yourself and all human kind.

Often we lack ,confidence in self

The world is too scary, too big, too lonely, too unkind.

Shed your fears, my friend.

Walk with simple, beautiful, strides.

We’re here to watch you, to protect, love and guide.

Its begins from within and a flame is lit, through the One sky.

This is the girl effect.

@Zeenat. Thank u so much Z. We’re truly privileged aren’t we? This was so hard for me to write, as we see so much girl child subjugation around us. So much to tell, too many emotions, so a poem felt best.

    Hi Uzma,

Very nice my friend. We all should help those girls. Thank you for sharing 🙂

    • Uzma says:

@Dia. Thanks. Yup, we should help them, all we can. Check out Tara’s blog and see if you want to participate. Even putting up a video is enough with links.
