Do we truly relish the good in and around us? Do we ever pay attention to all the great stuff in our lives? Do we even know what it is? And when we do , do we truly ever enjoy it, and feel happy , blissful about it and maintain that inner state of happiness ?
Even if we do, it’s probably for a second till the worries of the world take us over .
There is much that is good, even great in our lives. But we focus on the trouble (which may not even be trouble, in the first place)
Do we really , truly enjoy the good, the lovely, the fun in our lives and in ourselves ? Or do we focus on the one ‘not so good part of our life’ too much and not truly appreciate and relish the nice ?.
For example, we may not have a great career, or are still searching for meaningful work that makes us happy. This worry and search can overcome us, becoming our sole thought – every second of every day.
Yet there is more to us, than a profession. We could be great friends, fabulous brothers or sisters, very fit and healthy, and could just be enjoying the best mangoes of a great summer. But did we really focus on this, do we relish the feeling of having these in our lives, do we truly enjoy them ?
Life is the sum of many parts. And some parts may experience a slow growth every now and then, but that too comes with its reasons.
We can’t rush life, we can enjoy what it is – now.
Not to say one must not work at we deem ‘lacking or an issue’ but this can’t be our sole agenda.
The loveliness of all the good, will create a happier mindset and our whole perspective to the ‘issue’ may change.
Roads open when we stop struggling, so lets stop struggling.
Relish the good. Truly enjoy it, list it ,think about it and feel happy.
You will notice a bounce in your step and a gleam in our spirit.
It’s all about the focus, so focus on the loveliness always.
